She reports on science/health, women, development, education, environment/ climate change, trade/business in Kenya and Africa. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemist/Chemistry and a masters of Arts degree in communications studies. Ms Ligami is currently a scholar at The Secular Society (TSS). She is a 2016 International Women Media Foundation (IWMF) grantee and a three times winner of the East African journalist of the year award.
